Job Description:

The role is responsible for driving new customer engagement and pipeline generation in key accounts across the UK Defence & Security Sector which have been identified as strategic and therefore require focused effort to turn these customers into substantial revenue generators. Your customer base will include new logo accounts as well as a subset of existing Vodafone customers who have some Vodafone products but with limited relationship and significant whitespace. The key output is to lead early stage customer engagement on long sales cycle opportunties as well as to deliver well qualified sales leads which will be handed over to the relevant Account leads to progress.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of Public Sector and central government customers including MoD and Home office
  • Proven track record in sales and business development
  • Typically requires a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience.
  • Positive and energetic attitude, willing to challenge the status quo, with excellent communication skills and analytical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of the Defence industry and MoD strategic direction and procurement
  • Knowledge and experience of Public Sector and central government customers including MoD and Home office
  • Proven track record in sales and business development
  • Typically requires a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience.
