Job Description:
Sutter Medical Center Santa Rosa is located in the heart of Northern California’s famous wine country, just 50 miles north of San Francisco and 30 minutes from the beautiful Pacific Coast. Centers of excellence include: Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Women’s and Children’s Services, and Level III NICU.
The position distributes and issues supplies. This position processes all outgoing mail and sorts and distributes incoming mail. Additionally, this position may be assigned inventory, issue, distribute and re-stock warehoused supplies for specified departments. Position may be assigned to prepare and place orders, research and resolve supply and receiving problems, assist with special purchasing requests, assist with projects by analyzing and comparing costs, add updated information to the purchasing computer system, file paperwork, etc.
Job Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent required. One year related hospital experience or demonstration of competency required that would result in a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of medical supplies and healthcare distribution practices.
