As the Trucking Operations Representative, you will be responsible for the coordination and administration of our bulk fuel trucking network which includes both retail and wholesale customers cross Canada. Being a key member of our dynamic team, you will be the face of Suncor to our clients and vendors; and strive to help us find efficiencies by utilizing your knowledge of our operations while using a questioning attitude to continually improve our service levels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor carriers’ delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery of bulk fuel
  • Lead inventory reconciliation and sales estimating to improve accuracy of delivery window projections
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with diverse groups of customers through the order taking process and professionally responding to customer inquiries and complaints
  • Analyze carriers’ performance against critical metrics, manage incorrect SAP transactions, Manage cases of unsafe conditions at sites until resolved and coordinate the resolution of systems issues
  • Manage supply point inventories and supply restrictions / terminal inventory constraints
  • Monitor and course correct loading point usage by carriers and adjust work by supply point if there are supply disruptions
  • Assist with incident investigations
  • Coordinate pump out and customer requirements, log data, ensure paperwork received and forwarded for SAP transaction adjustments
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects

Job Requirements:

  • Two years of customer interfacing experience within a collaborative team environment
  • A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Resilience and are a self-starter who strives to maintain a positive mindset in challenging situations
  • Strong communication skills to deliver in a fast-changing environment with the ability to work independently and manage your time to meet deadlines
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Alignment with our values safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity
  • Customer Service Representative (CSR) or logistics industry experience
  • A post-secondary education
  • Bilingual (English and French) – please submit your resume in English
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Toptech, Aspen Tech dispatch software, Microsoft Word, MS Teams, OneNote and PowerPoint
    The ability to react quickly to problems to resolve them before they advance
