Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a German speaking Service Desk Analyst to join our busy German Service Desk. In the role you’ll take responsibility for providing effective 1st & 2nd line support to mostly German users via the Service Desk, including support of systems, Windows 7/8/10 & Apple Mac desktops/mobile devices, Android phones, and a number of largely bespoke applications developed around different databases.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Advising and assisting team members with service provision
  •  Dealing with queries in a calm, swift and customer-focussed manner
  •  Providing 1st & 2nd line support for all of Sky’s IT infrastructure
  •  User administration and provisioning of all IT Infrastructure Technologies.
  • To follow Sky’s health and safety policies and procedures; report any safety issues to line management; and participate in Sky’s objective to be a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Logging, recording and prioritising all incidents received into the Service Desk
  • Contributing to the effective service provision of the Service Desk Team, adhering to processes and guidelines

Job Requirements:

  • Passion for technology
  •  Excellent communications skills, good time management and problem-solving skills
  •  Able to work on own initiative, ability to multi-task and deal with pressure

Qualification & Experience:

  • You’ll be well fed at our subsidised canteen, and you can keep in shape at our onsite gym. Or play a game of pool or table tennis.
