Saipem Careers – Environmental Engineer

Job Description:

The Onshore Drilling division of Saipem is looking for an Environmental Engineer, who will support the Environment and Sustainability Manager in assessing the environmental aspects/impacts of Saipem activities and identifying proper mitigation measures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop proper mitigation measures and methods to be implemented for reduction of the environmental impact;
• Provide support for the development and improvement of the environmental management system and performances of Saipem Companies/projects;
• Develop specific studies and global analysis in order to evaluate and improve the environmental system in normal and upset conditions;
• Perform analysis and studies on the environment impact by the impact studies and evaluations (VIA,SIA);
• Support for the development and improvement of the environmental system;
• Perform studies/analyses on subject related to environmental issues;
• Provide guidelines for the management of the environmental aspects to projects/companies;
• Analyse the activities environmental impact, both for project and execution phases;

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of ISO14001 standard and audit systems;
• Fluent knowledge of English and Italian;
• Knowledge of MS tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc);
• Be able to prepare/analyse environmental KPI;
• Be able to identify/analyse environmental aspects;
• Be able to prepare/assess energy efficiency and related feasibility studies;
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering;
• From 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles;
