Job Description:

Social Media Specialists provide assistance to our online communities through our social media channels (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest) as an extension of the premier customer service provided to our stores. As a part of the Social Media Specialist team, you may be responsible for customer engagement initiatives, supporting customer facing applications, creative writing and content creation. You will play a key role in the assisting in building the Publix brand while providing outstanding customer service.

Job Requirements:

  • Reviewing, editing and proofreading a variety of content.
  • Project management including managing timelines and editorial calendars.
  • Building loyal communities on social platforms.
  • Promoting and protecting the Publix brand on social media channels.
  • Reviewing analytics and ideating improvement changes based on metrics.
  • Delivering premier customer service through our social media channels.
  • Developing social media content for both owned/paid channels.
  • Creating unique social media content in collaboration with other internal development teams.
  • Writing copy for social media posts.
  • Writing articles for our Publix blog.
  • Reviewing, editing and proofreading a variety of content.
  • Project management including managing timelines and editorial calendars.
  • Building loyal communities on social platforms.
  • Promoting and protecting the Publix brand on social media channels.
  • Reviewing analytics and ideating improvement changes based on metrics.
