Job Description:
Pertemps are currently seeking Post Persons to join our national client on an ongoing temporary basis. Royal Mail deliver letters and parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking for Post Persons to be a part of this world-class service, supporting this busy period. You will be responsible for delivering parcels and mail quickly and efficiently, by walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service.
Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office. (You MUST have a full UK Driving Licence as some driving may be involved but is not always guaranteed). Working as a Post Person you will receive from £11.44 per hour Monday to Saturday and should you work on a Sunday you will receive an overtime rate of £13.91 per hour. Generally shifts will be afternoons to early evening but some flexibility will be needed to potentially start late mornings. Full training will be given in a socially distanced environment. Please bear in mind this role is covering the whole of the Liverpool area and you must be flexible to work in different depots around the Liverpool and surrounding areas.
Job Requirements:
- A clean DBS (check as part of application process)
- Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Upbeat and self-motivated
- Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather
- Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role
- Excellent organisational skills
