Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to work autonomously to tackle a broad scope of customer requirements
- Ability to effectively deliver oral presentations to management and customers
- Ability to work independently and direct subordinates
- Ability to deliver synthetic environment training using flight simulators and other tools
- Ability to contribute to development of teaching aids and courseware
- Ensure that training delivered is consistent with training objectives and teaching points in the training plan, per applicable training standards
- Reporting student progress, issues and deficiencies relative to the course delivery
- Ability to travel and work overtime when needed
Job Requirements:
- Experience as a military pilot
- Previous Military flying instructional experience
- Formal training in Instructional Techniques
- MANDATORY: Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit
- MANDATORY: Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods Clearance and a Government of Canada security clearance is required
- MANDATORY: Physically able to work in confined spaces
- Verbal French language skills in order to be able to instruct in French
- Experience as a search and rescue pilot
- Experience as a multi engine fixed wing pilot
- Experience with authoring and amending multi-media instructional courseware
- Familiar with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure te aching points are met per Training Standards
- Airbus 295 aircraft experience
