Job Description:
OUTmarketing has a proud history of producing world class content and campaigns to support a strong financial services brand within the South African and Namibian market. All these are executed in-house with a strong performance and results driven culture.
The key function of Executive Creative Director (ECD) is to conceptualise, direct and produce content for TV, Radio, Print and Online advertising campaigns. In addition to specific campaigns the incumbent ECD will influence the overall creative strategy for OUTsurance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the strategists to define a product creative strategy and go-to-market proposition.
- Conceptualise new creative campaigns for television that will also extend into other media.
- Present / pitch creative concepts to Exco and senior leadership for approval.
- Work with production companies to define the exact art direction of the campaign.
- Work with internal resources such as data analyst, actuaries and finance to source appropriate input resources to make the campaign work.
- To direct the TV shoot with the production company.
- To produce final TV adverts of various lengths and formats for submission to TV stations and digital platforms.
- To compile and manage the production budget.
- To work with the management team in evaluating marketing opportunities and sponsorships.
- To proactively conceptualise ideas to further enhance customer perception of OUTsurance and thereby increase the generation of leads.
- To work across all OUTsurance products including Personal, Business, Life and Funeral Insurance, Investments and CSI initiatives.
- To proactively conceptualise creative ideas to enhance digital interaction with OUTsurance.
- From time to time get involved with staff campaigns to build brand identity and the company culture.
Job Requirements:
- Matric
- 8 years’ work experience with a minimum of 3 years’ in a senior creative position
- A solid understanding of design, copy and web practices.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models.
- A creative visionary and strategic thinker.
- Ability to think holistically – about the customers using our products, a cohesive design system, and end-to-end experiences.
- Proven strategic and creative thinker, who can inspire, generate and execute on innovative ideas to maximise business performance.
- Deep understanding and experience working across end-to-end consumer experiences and full funnel creative efforts in a digital and technology-driven environment.
- Strong presentation and communications skills including experience working closely with senior leadership (c-suite)
