Job Description:

The role of this position to lead the Architecture and GLA management team within Retail Design and Delivery (RDD) department. This team is responsible for maintaining Architecture and MEP records of MAF Shopping Malls Business Unit’s retail units and provides CAD and GLA management support to various departments and business units across the operating assets and the new developments/redevelopments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders (RDD, leasing, LCM, STR/MPM, Finance, Development, Mall operations, Mall management…)
• Craft formal communications in a clear, concise, and considered manner and liaises with stakeholders to follow-up on actions/approvals/proposals.
• Review, update and create necessary procedures to enable smooth team operation and seamless cross functional collaboration.
• Discuss, prepare and present leasing proposals to the leasing team in coordination with the agreed strategy plans.
• Manage the preparation of LCM related drawings making sure they align with business requirements and the agreed processes.
• Manage the preparation of STR/MPM LODs and masterplans seeking proper stakeholders’ approval for new locations and swaps.
• Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to Architectural/MEP LOD preparation and updates, communicating with business stakeholders, and directing the CAD team.
• Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to leasing plans updates by implementing the agreed processes.
• Provide support to the development team by producing trackable architectural sketches and status update and leasing plans.
• Manage CRM virtual unit management requests for assets/projects by validating and advising on the scenarios submitted by leasing.
• Generate and maintain GLA management reports providing a correct leasable GLA and unit count on the business’s unit management platforms for proper business reporting.
• Review and maintain asset current drawings, implement changes based on understanding and knowledge of the asset, and possesses working knowledge of managing design documentation.
• Be a pioneer of technology within the team ensuring that CAD, 3-D, and Graphics systems are up to date in accordance with the market and stay updated with the latest trends supporting the technical efficiency of the team.
• Ensure compliance with the MAF’s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times.
• Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAF values and ensure that it is adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.
