A strategic thinker, the PR Manager will have a network of fashion industry contacts across multiple types of media and be responsible for building strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Global Marketing Managers and the Planning Manager. The PR Manager will assist the General Manager in allocating resource to campaigns, business projects and briefs. This role is accountable for understanding and analysing both the macro and micro environment of the media landscape, both from a digital and traditional point of view. With strong managerial and mentoring skills, the PR Manager will drive the team to deliver Marcomms KPI’s. This individual will be a subject expert in their industry and have the strength of connections within that network.
- Promote Harrods through targeted contact with specific UK and International media.
- To identify and pitch the most newsworthy products, services and activities for each area, following briefing from the Group Marketing Managers.
- Report on results – analysing, collating and presenting all coverage to the business.
- Devise creative PR campaigns that highlight key brand messages, working with the General Manager and the Project Delivery Manager.
