Job Description:
We currently have an exciting opportunity to work as an Apprentice Technical Officer within the Business Service Centre. We are looking for a confident and experienced ICT professional who will assist and support the team in improving and maintaining a variety of business systems in a complex environment. In future more of our systems will be moving to cloud, you will have the opportunity to play an important role in this exciting transition.
You will attend appropriate training as well as additional training courses set out within your apprenticeship programme in order for you to fulfil your role to the best possible standard. This post offers the opportunity to gain experience in supporting and developing IT applications and providing support to our internal and external customers.
Job Requirements:
While some work experience may be helpful, it is by no means essential. What is important is that you are able to evidence that you have the attributes we are seeking for our new apprentice. Strong communication skills, a good general knowledge of IT system hardware and software principles, and the ability to undertake research and problem solve. - C grade or above GCSE Mathematics or equivalent qualification
- C grade or above GCSE English or equivalent qualification
- It would be desirable if you had IT/computing related qualifications such as GCSE or equivalent level
