Job Description:
The main purpose of this role is to manage digital and social media platforms, increase traffic and followers across all platforms, set up and manage paid-for campaigns to drive and generate leads as well as support all other digital marketing initiatives as per the organisation’s strategy
Job Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and direct the main activities of the Marketing team to ensure alignment and prioritization.
- Support the Marketing department’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing.
- Oversee all company social media content, strategy, and communications.
- Lead creation of video and audio content to support the communications strategy.
- Management of website content.
- Creation and distribution of marketing emails and other communications.
- Analysing customer behaviour and providing local customer insights and opportunities for improvement.
- Continuous improvement of the digital customer experience.
- Working closely with the website development team to prioritise and implement customer experience improvements.
- Data collection and analysis.
- Ensure invoices are processed timeously.
- Take minutes and distribute agendas for key meetings.
- Stay abreast of digital conferences and events and communicate relevant information with the team.
- Produce, update, and provide best practice support on MS documents, databases, and other departmental systems.
- Develop and maintain excellent procedural or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
- Strategize and implement a diverse range of digital marketing campaigns from basic SEO related tasks such as updating title tags and meta descriptions to more time-intensive tasks such as driving design creatives for display campaigns.
- Assist with developing collateral to support marketing activities and campaigns.
- Support the execution of marketing and conversion strategies, and regularly analyse the lead generation and conversion components of campaigns.
- Track and report digital marketing campaign(s) success through effective measurement metrics, make recommendations for improvement, and take corrective steps.
- Track all communication and deliverables in the company’s project management software.
- Research and seek innovative digital opportunities and development of tactical marketing activities and digital campaigns.
- Monitor all marketing channels for engagement and effectiveness.
- Ensure brand consistency.

- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice.
Job Requirements:
- Marketing / Digital Marketing / Communications qualification (NQF Level 5 or higher)
- Project Management qualification.
- Google AdWords certification.
- Google Analytics certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
- Experience in designing and implementing successful growth and engagement strategies across social media and other digital channels.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
- Social Media marketing and coordination.
- CRM Marketing tools (beneficial)
- SharePoint (beneficial)
