Job Description:

A position for a Sales Assistant exists at CSA Helderkruin, reporting to the Group Executive New Business Development. The overall purpose of this position is to support the Group Executive New Business Development and Department in all admin functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answering of phone calls to the department and directing them accordingly, take messages and ensuring that they are followed up on.
  • Compiling of E-mails to clients and Sales person’s.
  • Directing leads to the relevant sales person.
  • Requesting additional fuel slips when travelling is required for the department.
  • Requesting accommodation to be booked if and when required.
  • File, copying, scanning of documents (all relevant administrative duties).
  • Keeping record of client agreements.
  • Following up with Legal Department on outstanding client agreements.
  • Requesting approval of Credit Applications from Credit Control.
  • Compiling files for commission submission.
  • Sending out reminders for commission to be submitted.
  • Sending commission to relevant Executive Manager for approval.
  • Submitting commission of sales department on time once approval obtained.
  • Print all documents from tenders drive.
  • Certification of documents for tenders.
  • Compile tender files.
  • Sending tender documents to Legal Department to review.
  • Assist with scanning all tenders files.
  • Booking of tenders to be collect / submitting tenders on email.
  • Prepare reimbursement documentation when required and submitting for reimbursements to be processed.
  • Prepare quotations.
  • Loading of sales orders on ebilling.
  • Preparing manual sales orders for CIT and submitting to OSU.
  • Send out reminders for month end reports to be submitted.
  • Assist CIT clients with queries for non-collections.
  • Assist CIT clients with consumables orders from the relevant branches.
  • Dealing with queries on the phone and by email.
  • Booking in vehicles for services and repairs.
  • Requesting purchase orders from fleet department
  • Rescheduling appointments with clients

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5-8 Years’ Experience in the Sales Environment.
  • Sales, Marketing, Management Diploma or Equivalent Qualifications.
  • No Criminal Record or any pending cases.
  • Must be professional and well presented at all times.
  • Capable to work under pressure and for extended hours, if required.
  • Full competence in the use and application of the Ms Office suite programs.
  • Valid Drivers license and own reliable transport essential.
  • Must be prepared to travel if and when required.
  • Previous experience in the security industry would be a distinct advantage.
  • PSIRA Registered and Accredited – Advantageous
  • Ability to work under pressure
