Job Description:

To provide a consultant/support and audit service to Tx Property Rights and Electricity network personnel through the development and implementation of generic standards, systems and procedures, advisement and involvement in high level problem solving

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide training and consulting service
• Provide leadership, assist and advise property rights personnel in solving high level problems regarding legal securement and maintenance of Transmission property rights
• Adjudication of Applications from 3rd parties to legally encroach on Eskom servitudes (both vacant and occupied by Transmission power lines that are in Commercial Operations
• Audits of rights
• Development and implementation of standards, systems and procedures

Job Requirements:

• B-Tech Land Surveying
• 5 years’ related experience
• Property and contract law
  • Computer technology
  • Property industry
  • Surveyor-General systems, practices and procedures
  • Registrar of Deeds systems, practices and procedures
  • Property conveyancing
  • Advanced knowledge of company standards and procedures and OHS Act
• Skill
  • Leading, mentoring and training
  • Interpretation of legal contracts and deeds
  • Analysing and interpretation
  • Investigation and audit
