Job Description:
To provide services related to fire risk management functions required at a business unit by performing and executing, the planning and monitoring of work performance and to provide functions in achieving departmental objectives
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate fire risk management programme
- Coordinate the fire and emergencies hazard control procedures
- Control the execution of fire risk management activities and requirements
- Enforce hot work and transient combustible permit system
- Perform supervisory activities
- Perform administrative activities
- Co-ordinate and control fire risk management contract work
- Control sub section finances
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Fire Technology
- 3 years related
- Knowledge
- Fire safety and building regulations
- Peer reviewing / auditing principles
- Risk assessment procedures
- Fire brigade services act knowledge
- Emergency plan knowledge
- Relevant Eskom standards knowledge
- SHE knowledge
- Knowledge of fire systems
