Job Description:

We are on the search for a Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic People team based in Dunstable.  Working with the Payroll Manager, you’ll be required to assist with the administration of payroll services for 18000+ Costa employees in the UK.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as coordinator between employees and third parties.
  • Manage & Request the raising of BACS & CHAPS payments.
  • Key contact and escalation point for third parties including current provider and Pensions provider (L&G)
  • Assist in managing payroll & expenses for all Costa UK based employees.

Job Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge and experience of Expenses – How they work, Mileage calculations and claiming back VAT. (Th process and workings behind them).
  • Good understanding of payroll legislation and be confident in dealing with sensitive and highly confidential matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues of all levels.
  • Experience of working in a similar role (ideally working with an outsourced payroll department for the last 2 years) and worked in a successful, fast paced team environment.
