Job Description:

As a Barclays Full Stack Developer, you will work within the area of Barclays Risk, Finance and Treasury. As part of the team, you will also be responsible for delivery of a system for pricing and risk valuation of those trades that exceed the specifications of the core trading system. The group is currently transforming the technology infrastructure to compute and report Market Risk in line with our strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participating in design and implementation of the One Risk Portal and Integration Services for Market Risk technology
• Designing and implementing of Portal & Services using Angular framework, HTML5, TypeScript, CSS, C#, .NET Core/.NET framework, MVC, REST, Solace
• Designing and implementing effective and performant code with unit tests incorporated
• Performing detailed analysis on technical and functional requirements
• Liaising effectively with business analysts and architecture team
• Writing technical design documents adhering to predefined standards

Job Requirements:

• Experience of working on large enterprise projects
• Experience in leading distributed team
• Proven hands-on experience in IT development with Angular framework (Preferably 9+), HTML5, CSS3 and TypeScript
• Experience with C# .NET Core and .NET framework, MVC, ASP.NET with SPA (Single Page Application)
• General understanding of the financial markets and environment; willingness and capacity to learn complex financial concepts
• Experience in Test/ Behaviour Driven Development (including test automation and mocking tools)
• Practical knowledge of popular tools e.g. npm, grunt, gulp, jspm, karma, jasmine, NgRx, RxJS
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
