This is not your ordinary Workforce Planner role – based out of Tullamarine, Vic we are on the hunt for an experienced Workforce Planner who wants to be part of an exciting, ever changing and transforming organisation.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be an experienced Workforce Planner who can confidently manage the day to day planning of our Tullamarine Site to deliver against agreed budgets and performance outcome. This role will suit someone who is highly organised, has a keen eye for detail and ability to problem solve under pressure.

You will work with the Facility Manager and assist with the creation and development of communications for the facility along with record keeping in line with company standards, while building strong relationships with Supervisors and Managers.

You will mostly focus on the scheduling of various safety training sessions, annual leave management, tracking of the DHS and leave monitoring, weekly timecards and ad-hoc workforce planning type functions.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage sick leave, overtime and leave liabilities, day to day operations to meet performance targets
  • Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency projects
  • Manage and review time and attendance through Kronos
  • Raise improvement ideas that support any area of operational performance, safety, service, productivity and people
  • Lead support and compliance of the WHS management system to meet safety KPI’s and build a ‘mindfulness safety’ culture.
  • Oversee the team’s compliance to company and operational SOPs and policies
  • Enable and deliver effective communications between management and employees (Toolbox talks, Team meetings)
  • Ensure all team members have the necessary skills and accreditations/licenses to meet operational requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a Workforce Planner role in a blue-collar workforce is highly desirable
  • Experience in meeting WHS standards
  • Experience using technology to manage inventory
  • Intermediate computer skills including excel
  • Experience in managing and improving the quality control of people
  • Experience analysing warehouse/operations reports.
  • Rostering and planning labour in a variable environment
