Job Description:

Here in the Email team, we work with stakeholders from all areas of the Sainsbury’s group to create engaging and personalised communications for our customers. This role supports Nectar 360, meaning you’ll build and deploy emails for some of the world’s most recognisable and well-loved brands. You’d be working on partner campaigns featuring the likes of eBay, British Airways and Esso plus FMCG brands such as P&G, Coca Cola & Cadbury’s.

Sitting within Digital Marketing, we have a strong focus on innovation and tech improvements, and we like to challenge the status quo. We’re always looking for ways to refresh and improve our programme, as well as keeping a close eye on our competitors.

Job Responsibilities:

As an Email Marketing Associate your role will support the development of email marketing across the broad coalition of partners that make up the Nectar programme, using email HTML experience to optimise templates, efficiencies, and automation across the email programmes to improve the relevance for the customer.

The breadth and depth of our customer data is our biggest asset and greatest advantage over our competitors. How we leverage that data in our communications is crucially important as it allows us to be more targeted, more relevant and ultimately more effective.  Email is a key channel through which we can engage and communicate with our current customer base to drive sales and brand equity. This role will be accountable for how we unlock the power of our data and email assets to deliver ever more personalised and effective communications, as efficiently as possible.

Job Requirements:

We are on the lookout for digital marketeers with experience of the email marketing channel and industry and who have had experience working with HTML. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience would be great too! As our Digital Marketing Associate for email, you will be able to work independently as well as collaborate with other members of the email team and key stakeholders across the business, as well as having the ability to think strategically both from a customer and commercial point of view. Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously is a must too, so if this sounds like you then hit apply!
