Our goal is to make Venmo ubiquitous, simplify payments and enable secure & fun experiences. We are constantly seeking to grow our user base. The Venmo Growth Manager is responsible for driving user growth through product and marketing initiatives, such as referrals, working in a cross-functional manner to increase acquisition, retention and engagement. You will be responsible for a top line user growth number and need to work with multiple teams to deliver against this goal.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively partner with product, sales, data science and other marketing stakeholders to identify and test new sources of growth across Venmo to drive topline user growth metric
  • Own and lead the product roadmap for the growth engineering team including developing specs, making decisions across features and prioritizing opportunities list
  • Write the Experiment brief and testing plan ensuring reliable tracking / instrumentation across funnel
  • Develop optimal experiment vetting idea and against end-to-end customer experience, and working with embedded creative team to develop elevated creative / copy execution
  • Actively monitor and seek learning immediately post launch to improve results in-flight
  • Drive rigorous learning and insights post launch. Audit every aspect of the product and identify opportunities for enhancements
  • Work closely with lifecycle and paid media to review funnel, audience, messaging, etc. reflecting insights into the next experiment for marketing
  • Seek to innovate and scale what has been proven as fast as possible to achieve maximum impact
  • Drive cross functional planning and execution across the variety of product and stakeholder teams involved with Venmo
  • Lead ideation, strategy and creation of the experimentation roadmap, coming up and seeking ideas with greatest odds to “raise the ceiling”.
  • Help drive Backlog prioritization working with growth analytics to size / model highest potential ideas
  • Partner closely with Lifecycle and Paid media teams to promote growth initiatives across the most effective channels
  • Strive for optimal user experiences across in product and marketing driven initiatives
  • Work closely with Risk, Legal and Compliance to build programs that are scalable and effective
  • Be a complete owner of your number and your experiences, do what it takes to get to the number while being a partner for any problems or issues that arise

Job Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as data-driven individual with bias towards action and innovation
  • Entrepreneurial & Results Focused: bring a ‘hustler’ style mentality and be highly results oriented. Get things done against the odds
  • Inquisitive marketer and thinker with high-level of curiosity and drive to test new ideas and future sources of growth
  • Experience with A/B testing and supporting measurement and attribution techniques
  • Highly analytical individual with ability to model experiments and extract valuable insights across large data sets
  • Excellent communicator, who interacts with clarity and purpose, and who has experience interacting at all levels of organization
  • Experience working effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast-paced and ideally agile environments
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, respectful, high integrity, able to deal with ambiguity in a constantly changing environment
  • Passion for PayPal and its mission
  • Bachelor’s Degree or more
