Job Description:
Working closely with internal partners from our maintenance, operations and production control teams, in this new graduate engineering role you will own the development of construction work packages that will improve the safety, efficiency, and/or reliability of our Edmonton refinery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of code and standards in work package designs
- Assist with our annual rail (safety management system) audit
- Provide support to refinery turnarounds, ensuring turnaround engineering work packages are completed in a timely and appropriate manner
- Ensure safety and reliability requirements are met by working closely with refinery stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- High motivation and are a self-starter who can work well both independently and within a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and both verbal and written communication skills
- A strong desire to continuously learn
- Alignment with our values safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity
- Bachelor of Engineering degree, majoring in mechanical engineering, having graduated in 2019 or graduating in 2020
