Job Description:
To design, develop curriculum and interactive learning programmes that enable transfer of learning to employees in building capability in response to SARS business objectives and strategies, in order to continuously enhance the service delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to investigate new solutions and to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to the organisation.
- Determine, develop, organise, execute and evaluate training to address identified needs.
- Determine the type of curriculum, learning methodology and learning programme that is required and liaise with subject matter experts to obtain the information required to be included in the learning programme.
- Design and develop interactive learning programme/s so that the learning outcomes will be achieved within the selected learning methodology
- Generate creative ideas based on data gathered in line with best practices and create storyboard making use of technologies.
- Discuss the draft learning programme/s with the subject matter experts and learning solutions architects as well as the programme manager and make amendments as required
- Ensure that the learning programme includes effective evaluation techniques and subscribes to the principles of adult learning
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with peers, SARS role players and third parties to achieve predefined objectives
- Design and develop learning interventions that enable the transfer of learning to employees regarding products, systems and legislative changes in order to develop and enhance their skills to meet business objectives.
- Deliver on objectives of intervention following multimedia professional instructional design and development standards by designing a learning intervention which provides the learning material online.
- Execute specialist input through investigation & opportunities within the product process including risk concern
- Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities
- Facilitate solution presentation and obtain sign off on learning material from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Apply practical and applied knowledge and act authoritatively on methods, systems and procedures to identify trends and potential risks
- Ensure that completed work adhere to relevant policies, procedures, governance and legislative requirements and report on deviations & discrepancies
- Implement and provide input into the development of governance, compliance, integrity and ethics processes within area of specialisation
- Search for, integrate and share new knowledge attained through formal and informal learning opportunities in the execution of your job.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with peers and team members to achieve predefined objectives
- Adhere to organisational policies and procedures to ensure cost effectiveness and reduction of financial costs
- Contribute to a culture of service excellence, which builds positive relationships and provides opportunity for feedback and exceptional service
- Provide authoritative, specialist services, expertise and advice to internal and external stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma in Multimedia Design & Development. (NQF 7) AND 5-7 years’ experience in a in a Multimedia design, Video development/editing and video animation environment, of which 2-3 years ideally at functional specialist level
- Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 10 years experience in a Multimedia design, Video development/editing and video animation environment
