Job Description:
The Platform Integrity is the Rocket Auto team responsible for making our platform run smoothly by investigating, debugging, and triaging issues in our software & data. The Platform Integrity Engineer is a hands-on support engineer. This position is available remotely from anywhere in the USA or Canada.
Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate complex issues in frontend, backend, devops, data pipeline, and database code
- Investigate issues from reporting to resolution
- Deliver technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineers to understand and resolve issues
Job Requirements:
- Either: (a) 1 year professional work experience as a hands-on software developer, in any language; or (b) 6 months professional work experience as a hands-on software developer, in any language, and attended a bootcamp or technical college degree program; or (c) 2 years professional work experience as a platform support engineer (or equivalent title)
- Can read & understand Javascript, HTML, CSS code, log files, database tables, stack traces, or willing to learn
- Can write SQL at an intermediate level
- Experience in high-scale production systems
- Clear, concise written/verbal communication
- Likes to roll-up sleeves, get in the weeds and deliver high-quality support daily
