Job Description:
We are currently recruiting riders for our Electric Delivery Vehicles across Mitchell, Fyshwick and Tuggeranong facilities. As a Postal Delivery Officer (PDO), you will start your early mornings sorting mail before you go out and deliver on your Electric Delivery Vehicle (EDV) in all types of weather.
Job Responsibilities:
- To successfully pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment
- A great memory and hand/eye co-ordination to sort the mail
- To be fit enough to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly
- To meet our safe working load limit of weighing 115kgs or less
Job Requirements:
- A friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who enjoys interacting with others
- Someone who enjoys early morning starts, and can be counted on to deliver mail to where it needs to go
- The flexibility to put in extra hours if required
- A Team player
- A commitment to Australia Post’s Occupational Health and Safety standards
