Job Description:
As a Postal Delivery Officer (PDO), you will start your early mornings sorting mail before you go out and deliver on your motorbike in all types of weather.
Job Responsibilities:
- To be a confident and experienced rider on a motorcycle
- To have experience riding off road though not mandatory
- To successfully pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment
- A great memory and hand/eye co-ordination to sort the mail
- To be fit enough to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly
- To meet our safe working load limit of weighing 100kgs or less
Job Requirements:
- A friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who enjoys interacting with others
- Someone who enjoys early morning starts, and can be counted on to deliver mail to where it needs to go
- The flexibility to put in extra hours if required
- A Team player
- A commitment to Australia Post’s Occupational Health and Safety standards
