Job Description:
As a Fiserv Associate, we will train you on how to properly manage production stock and raw materials for the Card department. You will be staging print production for pickup and shipment. Fiserv continuingly looks for ways to be the workplace that you can have fun in as well. We are happy to have Spirit day every Thursday so you can wear your team’s apparel instead of the standard Fiserv uniform! We also have Fiserv T-shirt Fridays and a shorts week in the summer!
Job Responsibilities:
- On-the-job paid training and work in a climate controlled environment
- Operating a pallet jack and managing inventory
- Keeping all Card Production equipment stocked with vital postal supplies
- Staging materials for production
- Communicating effectively with Card Production Supervisor and Warehouse staff
- Checking and verifying job components against the sample board
- Prioritizing work assignments based on deadlines
- Working with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning efficiency, safety, quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation)
- Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 30 pounds
- Strong mechanical aptitude and time management
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 12+ months Production Experience in High Speed Operation or similar
- Use of basic math skills
- A team player that works well with others but can also work independently
