Job Description:
Assign and supervise the duties and standards operating procedures for Jetport’s flight crew in accordance with aviation authorities’ regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Possess current Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with a valid instrument rating for an aircraft subject to CAR, Part VII, Subpart 4.
- Hold a type rating for at least one type of aircraft operated and be qualified to act as PIC on one of the types operated by Jetport (Challenger 604, Challenger 605, Gulfstream G100, Gulfstream G150).
- Requires a minimum of 2,000 hours of flight experience
- Requires a minimum of 1,500 hours of pilot-in-command experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a PIC of a commuter aeroplane as defined in Section 704.01 of the Canadian Aviation Regulations;
- Experience in corporate aviation
- In-depth knowledge of all relevant aviation regulations
- Able to demonstrate knowledge to TC with respect to the content of the Company Operations Manual, Training Manuals, Standard Operating
- Procedures, Company Check Pilot Manual, and the provisions of the Regulations and Standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position
- High-energy, self-starter entrepreneurial can-do attitude
- Excellent leadership, managerial and communication skills
- Ready to work occasionally after hours as needed
- Functional ability with MS Office suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
