Job Description

• Perform all assigned servicing, conditioning, fault diagnosis and restorative maintenance duties and tasks safely
• Responsible for maintenance and training on full duration breathing apparatus and escape sets
• Safeguarding the reliability, availability and “fit for purpose” operational condition of static and rotating mechanical equipment and systems sufficient to meet the operational availability targets of the asset
• Complete and annually maintain personal records of competence (CPP)
• The safe and efficient operation of allocated asset, static and rotating mechanical equipment and associated systems
• Implementation of planned maintenance programme directly reporting to Maintenance supervisor
• Diagnose and rectify faults to maximise equipment availability, identify spares requirement and initiate ordering of same

Job Requirements

• Raise work orders and work permits and prepare work-packs, as appropriate to progress work, also for vendors and contractors for signature and approval by authorised signatories
• Maintain accurate maintenance records (within GSAP & 1SAP) and comprehensive handover logs
• Maintain site fixed fire fighting equipment and firewater system
