Job Description
- Gathering and collecting data for the process and utility equipment, identify actions to be taken to minimise equipment and machinery failure
- Completing pre start-up/operating checks, ensuring all interdependent systems are available. Complete post start-up/operating checks to ensure
- Maintaining a detailed log of laboratory activities, test and analysis results etc
- Recovering plant from any emergency shutdown and minimise loss of production, whilst adhering to operating procedures
- Identifying and reporting to the Control Room any plant/equipment malfunction. Implement adjustments under the direction of the Control Room
- Implementing shutdown, design & implement isolation, depressurising and cleaning of equipment required for maintenance, purging and de-isolating ensuring all work permits have been cleared before bringing production back on line
- Ensuring that the plant operation meets specifications
- Operating as part of a team who are responsible for the continuous processing of oil and gas
- Ensuring safe and efficient operations of the chemical injection facilities and to bring to the attention of the Shift Team Leader any equipment
malfunction or process deviation so that these can be promptly corrected - Controlling and co-ordinating the operation of the chemical injection systems to ensure efficient use of consumables and an acceptable standard of productnormal operating conditions
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have offshore experience and be qualified to SVQ/NVQ level 2/3 in Processing Hydrocarbons and have experience in process operations. A maintenance background is advantageous but not essential. CRO and / or PWU Tech experience is desirable.
