Job Description:

To manage and coordinate the project portfolio within Mediclinic Southern Africa (MCSA) towards effectively meeting strategic business and organisational objectives, and to develop and manage a centralised administration function for the infrastructure department

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuous performance and quality management within Project Portfolio
  • Lead and manage people in the team
  • Manage and control budgets/finances for the infrastructure department
  • Drive and manage administration for the infrastructure department
  • Manage the property portfolio of MCSA
  • Drive and manage project planning as well as human resources planning and coordination within MCSA
  • Manage and control risks for the infrastructure department
  • Manage stakeholder relations and client service within the project Portfolio
  • Analyse, design and implement information systems

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Industrial or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Minimum NQF level 6)
  • Master of Business Administration
  • 8 Years experience in project management; Experience in managing a diverse team.
  • Data Analytics and systems analyst
  • Proven experience in managing large and diverse teams
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the application of financial and accounting principles and practices, forecasting and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in negotiations
  • Knowledge of strategic planning process and practices
  • Strong networking skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of cost benefit and investment analysis (ROI/IRR) for project initiatives
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of process flow and optimisation principles and practices
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Knowledge and sound application of business and management principles i.e. coordination of resources and people, production methods, leadership principles and techniques
  • Strong knowledge and application of risk management and control
  • Strong knowledge in data analytics and systems implementation
  • Strong knowledge of laws, regulations and policies pertaining to land use management and building development
  • Knowledge of Mediclinic policy and procedures
