Job Description:
The telematics team is growing to permanently support in house development of our iOS and Android telematics-driving app. To this effect, we are looking for a dynamic, innovative, driven iOS Mobile Engineer to lead our efforts in building out our expertise.
Ideally, this candidate will be comfortable with working in iOS native. Has some management experience (reviewing pull requests, manage workloads, backlog grooming). Is looking to be a lead engineer on a dynamic team as we expand our product offering.
The mobile iOS engineer will have extensive working relationships with our telematics technology
partner Cambridge Mobile Telematics and our various third-party app development companies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with our mobile development efforts and help define our roadmap over time
- Maintain our continuous integration pipeline
- Pull requests
- Innovate new features for the product
- Own our code base for long term maintainability and stability
- Manage an iOS developer
- Manage pipeline of requests for changes
- Code review
- Deployments
- Comfortable with coordinating international team tasks
Job Requirements:
- 1-3 years’ experience
- CI: Bitrise
- Experience with Telematics systems is advantageous
- iOS native
- iOS: Objective C and Swift
- Rest api’s to serve content
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
