Job Description:

ORIX USA is seeking to fill a Junior Cyber Security Analyst position within the Information Technology organization. The Cyber Security Analyst will monitor IT systems to detect security events for analysis and assessment. This role will perform the initial investigation of potential threats, intrusion attempts, suspicious behavior, and other security events, either identifying false positives, resolving completely, or escalating, depending on the severity. In addition, they will participate in threat and vulnerability management, cybersecurity awareness administration, governance, and security-related initiatives to help strengthen and protect ORIX USA’s overall security posture.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with administering security solutions such as web application firewall, vulnerability and patch management, endpoint security, employee awareness training, and other security platforms.
• Creation and documentation of procedures, work instructions, and topical manuals relating to information security.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, track, and facilitate the remediation of vulnerability management findings.
• Support the development of a cyber-security metrics program.
• Investigation and escalation of security incidents.
• Performs daily log review and event analysis of cyber events
• Daily monitoring and response to infrastructure availability, security technologies
• Assists with project management initiatives for security services and implementations
• Ensure technical deployments meet security policy, baselines, and standards
• Identify opportunities for process and technical and overall security improvement
• Provide support to leads when needed

Job Requirements:

• BA / BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively
• Innovative problem solving, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work within and in a team environment
• 2+ years of experience
