Job Description:

Our Marketing Team is looking for a Photographer to join our team in the Studio. This role will be responsible for ensuring that selected monthly product photographs are taken per the agreed setout process and within agreed timelines for the website & and promotional manuals to stores. The Photographer will also be required to prepare products for shoot, including sorting and steaming garments, and assist with the handheld camera photography shoot set up and strike down.

Job Responsibilities:

• Photography
  • Website Photography
    • Ensure products for website are photographed as per Style Guide
    • Capture the functionality, features, benefits, and uniqueness of individual products using a StyleShoots machine and handheld camera for ecommerce
    • Maintain and adhere to product photography style guide to ensure a coherent and singular photographic style
    • Retouch, resize and enhance images as needed
    • Safely operate and maintain all equipment and working environment
    • Maintain file naming and handling conventions
    • Prepare products for shoot – including steaming and sorting garments accordingly for the scheduled shoot
    • Assist the Digital Photographer with the set-up and strike down of the photography set
  • Visual Merchandise:
    • Interpret brief from and liaise with Visual Merchandising team to deliver photographs according to requirements
      Ensure every month that nest, window & on-mannequin photographs are taken to compile the promo manuals for stores
  • Interact with mutiple stakeholders (Studio Manager, Photographers, Marketing, Traffic Coordinator) to ensure deadlines are met and results are high-quality
• Preparation and Assistance
  • Website Photography and above the line, PR and new store openings
    • Sort samples according to shoot schedule & specification
    • Steam and prepare garments
    • Assist Digital Photographer with photoshoots (studio set up & strike down, photographic assistance, styling assistance, etc.)
  • Social Media:
    • Prepare and assists the Digital Photographer with tactical shoots for social media by;
    • Sorting samples according to shoot schedule & specification
    • Steaming garments
    • Assist Digital Photographer with social media photoshoots (studio set up & strike down, photographic assistance, styling assistance, etc.)

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Photography or similar
• Understanding of the online commerce workflow
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe CC
• Extensive knowledge of photography, lighting, product styling and working within existing style guide conventions
• Product photography skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Customer focus with a desire to over-deliver on quality
• Detail-oriented and highly organised
• Ability to adapt to change and a willingness to learn
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience using a DSLR camera
• Experience with studio lighting
• Experience in product photography for online commerce
• Experience in product styling
